Habits and personalities are interesting and I think are crucial to creating original characters, but that's just me! I personally enjoy fleshing out my characters but it also ends up just putting off the actual character creation when I start fixating too much on the accuracy and fairness of it. Argh! Personally, i enjoy reading scenes where the mc or the character from the perspective were reading of, is getting comfortable in a bed and sleeping soundly.
