Ricky Bowen, Nini Salazar-Roberts, E.J. Caswell, and Gina Porter are a group of friends that are part of a bigger group of friends. Their all enrolled at East High and their lives have completely different lives and personalities. Nini has it well living with her two moms and grandmother, she's trying to pursue her love for singing, but her insecurity keeps getting in the way, no matter how hard she tries. She knows what she wants, but she just wants to find who she wants to be. As an effect of moving from place to place and losing her brother, Gina decided to try and close herself off. She thinks she's safer when she's on the run, shouldn't open herself up and hide behind her wall. After losing his parents in a bombing, EJ went to live with his aunt, uncle, and cousins, but he feels like he stands out of the crowd and isn't right or normal, for more than one reason. He just wants to find out why he always feels so different. That's all he wants, isn't it? Because of his parents constantly arguing, his abusive mother, and her toxic boyfriend, Ricky is a troubled kid, always getting into fights, stirring up trouble, and never talking to anyone about his problems. He's accepted his brutal situation, but a part of him still wants to escape from his abuse and begin again. When they get caught in an explosion and a freak accident at a science lab during a field trip, they all gain unique and special abilities and are introduced to a whole new world, a world of superheroes. With the help of a few new friends and family, they are able to gain control of their new powers. What happens when a new upcoming villain threatens their city and these four are forced to put their powers to the test? These four must overcome new challenges to protect their secret as exciting discoveries are made, family secrets are exposed, and unexpected feelings arise. I've been having some difficulty trying to get out quality, completed/on the path to be completed stories. So, I decided to try to take some time to focus on OneShots instead. This way I can get something out to you guys that I actually like (instead of stuff that was just sitting in my drafts that I didn't feel like wasting)

This is basically the plot to the movie Rags, but with the characters of HSMTMTS, there are going to be some slight changes here and there that will be pointed out before the story begins, right after the cast is introduced. Our inspiration is an RJ & Gini AU Ricky and Nini, two talented singer-songwriters, are preparing for their upcoming album release in the fall. However, they have been struggling to find inspiration for their new songs. Despite having crushes on each other since high school, Ricky and Nini can't help but also develop feelings for their new acquaintances with this newfound inspiration and love, their album is sure to be a success. (PREVIOSLY TITLED: "High School Musical The Musical The Series The Omegaverse") Story based on a oneshot of 4 parts (if that's even a thing) I made in my oneshot book. This will take place inside of the Omegaverse, if you don't know what it is, there will be an explanation before the story begins (though I think you're better off looking it up yourself) IMPORTANT NOTE: Not everything from the show is taken into consideration. Either because I wasn't aware of certain details, because I had forgotten about certain details that the show had already revealed (Age gap between Ashlyn and EJ, Miss Jenn's age) or because certain details from the show were not revealed by the time I was starting to write this story (Example: Ricky's birthday) Also, I can't promise that the personalities for each character that's in the story so far is gonna be the same personality they have in the show, since this is a fanfic... and also because it's my first original story so won't really have time to remember what they're supposed to act like (except one or two characters) The main couple for this story is RJ/Caswen, but it will have other couples happening through the story.
