This started as a blog about what Catholics believe and why. I am following the outline of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Part 1 begins with the Nicene Creed, which forms the base for almost every Christian tradition. Each part focuses on one line or phrase of the Nicene Creed. In Part 2 I will look at the Celebration of the Christian Mystery, which focuses on the liturgy and the seven sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders and Matrimony. Part 3 will focus on the Life in Christ, while Part 4 will look at prayer.

"Wonder not, brethren, if the world hate you. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not, abideth in death." 1 John 3:13-14 (DRA) In today's world, especially in a time of fierce political divisions and a confusing sensationalism concocting all kinds of attitudes regarding the Christian faith, this series intends to explore the scriptures to reinforce that God is true and faithful to His children, and righteous in His judgment; it is a firm belief of the author that it is important to study and understand God's word in order to not only survive, but also to recognize and combat various things that plague modern society. The word of God is timeless, eternal and unconditionally relevant. In spite of centuries and even millennia of cultural and intellectual barriers, when read through the lens of the spiritual as well as the religious the message becomes clear to the reader and guides them on a journey through life and without the curse of death. Infamous for Existing encourages all who read it to consider what it means to be faithful in today's world.

The Catechism of the North American English Rite Catholic Church provides a comprehensive presentation of the Christian faith as received in the Catholic and Anglican tradition. Drawing upon Sacred Scripture, the teachings of the early Church, and the liturgical heritage of the English Rite, this catechism offers clear instruction in the beliefs, worship, and moral life of the Church. Structured according to the classic pattern of Christian teaching-the Profession of Faith, the Sacraments, the Moral Life, and Prayer-this volume guides readers through the essential doctrines of Christianity, including the Holy Trinity, the Incarnation, the life of grace, the seven sacraments, and the hope of eternal life. Written in a clear question-and-answer format, the catechism is designed for catechumens, confirmation candidates, clergy, teachers, and all faithful Christians seeking deeper formation in the faith. Rooted in the ancient faith of the Church while speaking to the challenges of the modern world, this catechism serves as both a teaching tool and a spiritual guide for those who desire to grow in knowledge of God and devotion to Christ.

    || 'TEENAGE THEOLOGY' A Catholic Theological piece... Theology & the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) viewed in the eyes of a fourteen year old. Concepts like 'If God loves us all, then why does suffering exist?.' 'Is it okay to be Christian & Homosexual..?.' 'Why do Catholics Pray to Saints!' ... Are all broken down and explained in terms that a teenager would understand. This book is written to strengthen the Faith of Catholics in Youth, so that we may be able to defend our Faith despite being young. And reflect on 1 Timothy 4:12: "Let no one despise your youth, but set an example to all the Believers."
