After civil war Steve, Bucky and the members of Team Cap are hidden in T'challa's base. Despite having The Winter Soldier mostly taken from him by Wanda, Bucky is riddled with nightmares, flashbacks and guilt. All Steve wants to do is help in any way he can. And all Bucky wants is a normal life, but that's hard when you're a wanted assassin for Hydra. (May turn into a Stucky fic, I feel like it will happen)

Amaris Randi Walker is just a regular girl with a normal family. But when the second world war breaks out she wants to make a difference so she signs up as a nurse. After three years of being a nurse Amaris is sent off to a U.S. training camp where famous agent Peggy Carter is working. Soon a new batch of recruits shows up bearing the most unlikely of soldiers, Steve Rogers. Steve and Amaris become friends, and maybe something more.

After Bucky gets rescued from Hydra, he isolates himself away from everyone, keeping himself locked away in a tiny apartment. Being his best friend, you help him out by getting his groceries each week and visiting him everyday. One day when visiting, Bucky opens up about the nightmares he's been having that keep him up each night and you convince him to let you help.

After falling off the train to his "death" Bucky Barnes is found by Hydra and the process of creating the winter solider begins. Many things that go on he will have no memory of in the future but as its happening its very real and he feels like it will never leave his mind. All Hydra wants is for him to break, and if he submits he may never see Steve again.

Do I need to say more when it's already in the title? James Buchanan Barnes must be protected at all cost. He is a precious cinnamon roll who just wants his damn plums. *clears throat* I mean, I hope you enjoy reading my (awesome) book. Anyways, meet Anne Taylor. Anne Taylor has been best friends with Steve and Bucky for as long as she can remember. Her mother was the strongest figure in her life, fighting for women's rights, until the tragic day her alcoholic father murdered her in cold blood and she was sent to Brooklyn at just 5 years old along with her siblings, George(8) and Rose(7), to live with her grandparents. She met Steve and Bucky at the library and has been friends with the two ever since. When she was around 16 years old she started to fall in love with Bucky, but never told him due to his interest in other women, but he secretly loved her too. When the news that Bucky had been drafted into the army at 23 years old and Steve was attempting to enlist reached her, she was devastated. She couldn't loose the love of her life and best friends to the war, but she kept quiet. Now we join her and follow her story.
