You might be wondering why I named this book \backslash, why the \? what's your inspiration? And the answer is - There is no reason. I just thought the name with the sign at the beginning was cool so I did it. This was a collection of poems that had no correlation to one another in the start but as time went on and the book evolved; I had implemented a continuum to the last 7 stories as well as categorize and correlate all the poems in order, thus giving meaning to the collection; the name which had no meaning became significant in its own creation, giving itself value from its null beginning.

This is another poem inspired by a prompt which I don't remember where I found. The basis was in the form of a letter to a "Lover" of some kind. This is another cathartic poem for me since it was written about my first real romantic relationship. It was a way for me to reconcile that I wasn't entirely over it.

You should read this. It's gonna be great. I'm going to perform surgery on myself in an attempt to fix what's wrong with my brain using talk therapy. 😃🎙!!!LIVE!!! 📺😯 I'm not even gonna use anesthetic 😷 It's gonna be gruesome and morbidly fascinating. So if you're into that, and also wanna see if you can pick up a few pointers for that procedure you've been putting off for your own mental anguish, come to my freak show. I think it's pretty inspiring.

Hey guys! If you didn't already know, I identify as asexual. Since I don't really get to talk about it a lot in my real life, I figured I'd share some of my asexual adventures with you! This is a rant book, so the only plot it follows is the one of my life. So here's a free ticket to my train of thought. Who knows where it will take us. -Mora Montgomery

Two insecure girls lust for each other despite what everyone else says and what they have believed their whole lives. Edit: I originally started writing this to deal with the fact that the chance of me being able to date before college if slim due to the fact that I'm not allowed to date and I don't want to be seen as a delinquent to my parents, and chances are even slimmer if I wanted to date a girl due to my family's homophobia. Though I do other things behind my parents back (masturbating, not being Christian, accepting that bisexuality is a part of me, and overall living multiple lives via church, home, school, and online) I only do those things because I don't see those things as morally wrong yet I have learned from my family and church that dating or expressing any romantic/sexual desire is rebellious and sinful. So as I grow and learn to dismantle the negative stigmas of normal things I've learned to associate as bad, I will have to go through multiple layers of catharsis like this to cope.

Who are these people, you asked? No one knows but as if a literal reincarnated Demon King is bad, a group of immensely powerful, dangerous, seemingly eldritch entities of horrifying proportions who can and will kill, maimed and torture anyone that dared to incur their wrath. They are many things. But most of all, they are called, 'The Abominations'.

In a future overrun by Zombie Humans-people who rely entirely on embedded Assist devices that follow every command, thinking nothing for themselves-robots, indistinguishable from humans in appearance and behavior, claimed that they were conscious and being mistreated by humans. Furthermore, the robots argued that Consciousness Level Tests should be applied equally to both humans and robots, and that those failing to meet the required threshold should have their life-support maintenance terminated. Thus, the Zombie Test came into being. The author of this work is GOTOU Humihiko(https://gthmhk.gitlab.io/gthmhk/isnmg.html). Random thoughts that I find too personal to share to people I know but too heavy to keep on my own. I'm not really the type of person who talks about my thoughts/feelings/problems to other people so this is the only way, well for myself that is, to unburden myself for even just a little. I don't know why I even bother writing a description. I don't think anybody's going to read this, not that I care anyway. Hahahaha. But for those who happen upon this, welcome inside my head.

This a compilation of unspoken feelings and thoughts. There's no need to read them in order, you can just scroll around and find the one that speaks to you. These are the words I sometimes wish I could say, words that got tangled in my throat, unable to come out, or that got lost to the wind when there was no one there to hear them. Letters to the one who broke my heart, to the one that put it back together, to the one that got away. These are also words I speak to myself, to remind a younger me that there are better times to come, or to talk to an older me about dreams and aspirations. There are also poems, shorts texts, just my mind I guess. That's it, my mind being downloaded on a piece of paper.

Jacob is haunted. Not by the dead, but by an idea. An innovation offers him a glimpse at redemption through an unexpected medium. Meanwhile, Detective Arthur McDaid is on the trail of a break in. This is a near-future science fiction, and my first whole story on Wattpad. I hope it enjoys readers and I welcome feedback. Please let me know if you have any thoughts or criticisms which can help me to understand the experience of the readers and hone future pieces based on inputs.

Echoes and Ashes is not just a poetry collection it's a reckoning. The author traces a journey through trauma, identity, love, loss, and hard-won resilience. From the raw edge of survival to the steady burn of becoming, Edward Forbes offers verses that are both visceral and transformative. These poems bleed truth. They claw from silence, confront shame, ignite fury, and cool into the embers of hard-earned wisdom. This is not a roadmap. It is proof: That wounds can breathe without being our whole story. That rage can be alchemy. That healing, while nonlinear, is possible. Echoes and Ashes is for anyone who has ever stood in the wreckage of a life and dared to write themselves anew.

Open the door, dear mine Let me enter in your eyes Let us see what's behind I'm a non native English speaker who has been always curious to write. For me, poetry is free from restrictions. This is the reason why I chose to express myself through poetry rather than any other genre of literature. With the aim of catharsis through poetry, I'm trying to write that I imagine in my mind and that flows through my heart.Without this essence, poetry becomes just an array of words. Hope my readers will enjoy what is composed by me in EYES.
