Jest is alive. He doesn't know how, or why, but he's alive. He stumbles upon a tea party. The host non other than the Mad Hatta. But attending was a field mouse, a March hare, a hound, a black raven, and a girl. She had hair, that almost looked black, green eyes, a red heart painted on her cheek and a golden crown set atop her head. ❤️ Catherine hasn't married the king, and she now lives with Hatta. (The two people on the front cover are what Catherine and Hatta look like in this book!) I wanted to add that I do not own any of Marissa Meyer's characters, and that she is an INCREDIBLE author! She waited for several seconds before she felt the figure leaning in, bringing their lips close to her ear. Catherine held in a breath and felt every muscle in her body tense. "Hi, Cath." Or Nine years later, after she became the Queen of Hearts, Catherine Pinkerton has been having strange dreams recently.

After the attack at the theatre, in a reality where Jest was not accused of kidnapping Lady Pinkerton after returning from the treacle well, still as the court joker, Catherine is invited to a royal feast with most of Hearts nobility. Cath still has trouble trying to convince everyone about the future proposal from the King, and that she refuses to accept. But, is it possible her parents will realize that this is not her path, that she refuses to let this become her fate? [This story is my personal alternative ending to Heartless and a different plot from when this story starts. An AU of sorts. ALL CHARACTERS AND RIGHTS BELONG TO MARISSA MEYER.]

Jest has died, but The Sisters didn't take Catherine's heart from her. She is now Queen, but will she give that up once she learns that Jest is back?! You will find out by reading... But no longer hold memory of the previous past, where Alice gave up her own freedom and life becoming a sister of the well in order to get Old Man Time to give them a second chance. The Story Hopeless takes place five years after Jest's death. Catherine - the Queen of Hearts - is loathed by everyone. Even the king is afraid of her, and they stay in different wings of the palace. But those are some one the least harmful problems in Wonderland. The war between the White and Red Queens of Chess has spread to dozens of other parts the realm. Without the Resilient Heart of the Queen of Hearts, the White Queen can get no leverage in the war. The Red Queen has heard about the heart's power, and also that it was lost a long time ago. She believes she can beat the White Queen. Hatta has gone completely insane, and Haiga and the Dormouse have become frightened of him. Minions of the Red Queen have infiltrated Hearts, searching for Catherine's weaknesses. But there is one person that could save them all. A Knight of the White Queen, determined to do anything to stop the war. One way or another, that Knight will help Catherine become good again. Even if someone in Wonderland becomes completely Hopeless.

What if it was Catherine who died? Imagine... Jest is distraught. He now has to go back to Chess without Catherine's heart in any shape, way or form. He would leave his own heart, buried six feet bellow with the woman he loved. But then three girls showed up, and offered him a deal he could not refuse. In this sequel to Marissa Meyer's Heartless, Catherine Pinkerton, now the Queen of Hearts, has become a cold and angry person, not at all how she used to be. The young girl who loved to bake is gone and has been replaced by a heartless queen. But, what happens when she gets a second chance at love with her precious court joker?

Unable to accept Jest's death even after losing her heart and marrying the King of Hearts, killing Sir Peter was not enough for Cath. Desperate to get Jest back, Cath seeks out the Three Sisters and asks if there is any way to change her fate and undo Jest's death. The Sisters reveal that there is a way to reverse what has happened - but since "all magic comes with a price" someone else must be sacrificed in Jest's place. Cath could sacrifice her former best friend, Mary Ann, who had been reckless enough to go to the pumpkin patch alone and is the reason they never went to Chess. Or she could sacrifice Hatta, who brought the cursed pumpkin seeds into Hearts, causing Lady Peter to become the Jabberwock. Or perhaps her mother, who never accepted Cath's dreams and tried to keep her away from Jest. Faced with a cruel choice, Cath must decide whether bringing back the man she loves is worth sacrificing another life. AN: I'm not sure if I'll change they title and cover of the Fanfiction yet

Sequel to Heartless by Marissa Meyer - because NO WAY am I accepting that ending!!! *muffled sobbing* In Wonderland, nothing is set in stone. The dead can come back to life, the heartless can be given hearts, and the impossible is possible. Or so they say.
