From the minute she is sent to Hatfield, Mary Tudor's life would never be the same again. When Mary Tudor receives the letter she has been dreading for years, it changes her world more than she ever could have imagined. In a realm where obedience is demanded and women are expected to bend, Mary refuses to yield. The once indulged and sheltered heir to the throne of England is cast into the brutal and harsh reality of a kingdom determined to silence her. Living as a prisoner, and forced to serve as a maid to her usurping half-sister, the daughter of Marys' deadly enemy, her ill-treatment will ultimately shape her life as a pious and determinedly stubborn woman, holding fast to her identity in a world that insists she has none. Through four more of her father's marriages, a battle of religious liberty with her once adoring brother and her increasingly strained relationship with her sister, Mary must draw on her remarkable bravery and determination to not only overcome the prejudices of her gender, but as a woman shaped by fire, faith, and the unshakeable belief that she, too, has the right to rule. "I was six years old when my sister, Emma Louise Nash, fell down the stairs and broke her neck. She died instantly, according to doctors. I am twenty-six when she is murdered in her apartment two decades later." When Clare's sister dies for the second time, her family is convinced they can revive her like they did years ago- through constant, fervent prayer. After a lifetime of trying to forget her sister's unexpected resurrection, Clare wants no part in the aftermath of her murder. But the sudden appearance of a priest who claims to know Emma's secrets suddenly propels her into a new and terrifying reality. Who gained from Emma's murder? And why does her family continue to cling so tightly to the absurd? The more Clare untangles the life her sister left behind, the more she wonders who orchestrated each of her deaths... and the more she's forced to revisit the dark faith they both tried to leave behind

I'm writing this book in response to the alarmingly many misconceptions people carry about Catholicism, including many Christians on this site. If you're a lapsed or lukewarm Catholic, a strong Catholic who may have questions on the faith and who'd like to learn more, a Protestant, or someone just generally curious about the faith, please feel welcomed. And please feel free to offer input, while not encouraging insults or rudeness. Christianity teaches love for neighbour.

Saying goodbye to her old god, to pledge allegiance to Loki. She has decided which day to make the break, and wants to spend time in her church before leaving it behind. Hours later, she is still there, so Loki comes to find her. Other inspiration: I used to be a Xtian and wanted to include a hint of how hard it can sometimes be to leave a faith behind, even if you are sure it is the right thing [for you] to do.

So in this story, Lampwick is traveling to Leavenworth, KS to got to a new summer church camp that his Mom thinks will be good for him. But Pinoke isn't going to be there, and his brother, Danny, is going at a different week. Here, Lampwick is going to be 13 and is really close with Danny who is 17. Lampwick also has never gone to a summer camp before, and he's nervous. Here, he learns that it's okay to be nervous and there's no reason why you can't learn. All characters, except the campers and Danny, are works of Disney. Lampwick and Danny's little thing is from Veggietales. The summer camp is one I have actually been to and the inspirational cleric for him is my own personal mentor. Enjoy!! Warning: I'm not going to use alot of pictures this time so the reader can use his/her imagination and, as usual, this will be a little soft and sappy.
