Nearly everyone in his family has volunteered for the Hunger Games and most have come home as victors. His family always pressures him to win the Hunger Games and come home as a victor. You know the story of Katniss and Peeta, but do you know the story of Cato and Clove? The cocky, self - assured Cato finally found his perfect someone, and he's not letting her go- he would follow Clove into Hell. So when she volunteers for the 74th Hunger Games in want of fame and freedom, that's exactly what he does. Cato is desperate for District Two to have a victor- and not him. Clove had a plan. Volunteer, win, return home and make her family rich, become a star. But now Cato's gone and screwed it all up, and she doesn't know what to do anymore. Because who ever heard of two people winning the Hunger Games? Disclaimer- this is just a fan fiction. Some of the plot is mine, but all rights to characters and the general idea of The Hunger Games go to Suzanne Collins. Unfortunately, the cover art is also not mine. If they're are any plot holes or things that don't match up with the books/movies, please tell me in the comments.
