In the arena, camped out under the tree where Katniss is hiding everything they once believed to be true is ripped from them. The Rebellion is happening in the middle of the 74 Hunger Games. The arena gets bombed and the tributes seize their chance at freedom, running through the hole and into the unforgiving wilderness. Cato and Clove must learn to work with their enemies in order to make it out alive to one of the districts before the Capital finds them. but home is not safe for a bunch of supposedly dead tributes. They have heard rumors that District 13 still exists, and they are hoping against hope that the rumors are true and that they will make it there with each other by their side and be a few of the lucky ones. And possibly have their friendship turn into something more? Watch Cato and Cloves journey as they tackle life before the games, new feelings, and certain death at every turn.

There were fake smiles exchanged, fake compliments given and fake wishes for success expressed between him and my parents. After he left, many tears were shed. But tears would not change my fate. Nothing could change my fate. I was going into the games.

It's the familiar story we all love but from Clove's perspective and a small twist.

It was the 75th Hunger Games, third Quarter Quell, and District 2 has three tributes.

It's Clove Kentwell's first day as a junior at Panem High, and the school may as well be a battlefield. She has to navigate parties, drama, crushes, (and detention) as she makes her way through her junior year; not to mention, deal with the crush she's had on Cato since middle school. Will she emerge victorious from Panem High, or will she be just another scratch on a bathroom stall? (This is mostly a Clato story but will feature all of the Hunger Games characters!)

Or at least that was the 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 plan before Cato Hadley crashed into her life.

Clove Kentwell is supposed to be dead. That is, she thought so until she wakes up in a Capital hospital seemingly unscathed. When she discovers Cato's there as well, along with the other dead tributes, a strange story begins to unravel at her feet. Why would President Snow keep them alive? Why is Cato acting so strangely? As the situation unfolds, Clove finds herself increasingly drawn to Cato in a way she never thought she would get to experience. Will she make good use of her second chance? Or is she condemned to be yet another pawn on the Capital's board? (Used to be on my old account.)
