An AU where we get a flashback scene during episode three, "Corridors." If ONLY

One summer night, twelve-year-old Adora crosses the street to sit with a broken girl she barely knows. As police lights flash and sirens wail behind them, she offers the only empathy Catra ever experienced. Four years later, just when high school bullies have Adora cornered and afraid, she walks back into her life. Catra returns transformed, tougher, emancipated and living on her own, with a dangerous past she's left behind. But she remembers that nigh and the girl who saw her. "I owe you" Catra says, offering to teach Adora to fight back. But as training sessions turn into stolen moments and gentle touches become lingering glances, both girls realize some debts can never truly be repaid but transformed into something deeper. A slow burn romance about childhood trauma, second chances, and discovering that sometimes the person you save ends up saving you right back. This started as a short story but when I had reached 20K words, I was forced to consider the meaning of the word "short" and turned into a full story. Will update this once or twice per week since most is already written and only needs a proofread or twelve. I had planned to post it when I was done but at Ch 40, I think I have enough for now to never fall behind. I do not own the characters in this story except for ones that I make up, credits goes to Noelle Stevenson and the creators of "She-ra and the Princesses of Power".

Sage Is a force captain where he has been born into the horde similarly to Adora, together, Catra, Adora and Sage have been living together ever since, Sage acting like the big brother, always looking out for them whenever he can, even if he were only a year older. However he's not exactly the same as everyone else, where others are human-like. He comes from an unknown land where even he doesn't know, his appearance is nearly dragon-like and yet far from it at the same time. Almost as if it's a mix of different breeds of animals. Regardless he doesn't care what he looks like in his glad to be living in the horde with Adora and catra. Not really caring about anything else but them.

As our travelers proceed to plan an attack on bright moon in the past. Meanwhile The Villain is slowly losing against crimson waste in 3020. Thanks to Shadow Weaver and the Double trouble agent, Evie. they managed to successfully win against Bright Moon. knowing that The Black Fox won't conquer Crimson Waste, she backs off to bright Moon. unfortunately for them, Shadow Weaver manages to place a good memories in Fox's hearth. with the help of the grim reaper (which you will meet through the story) she manages to recover after the battle. unfortunately most of crimson waste was destroyed back in the battle. The Resistance, barely holding on their feets, managed to steal some weapons and resources needed to rebuild on bright Moon's Hangar in crimson waste and they took it for themselves. the war is almost over and she's is slowly losing.
