Dan Howell is a famous youtuber and has a BBC Radio 1 show with his best friend Phil Lester, fellow youtuber. Vidcon 2015. They meet Cat, and Phil just may have developed feelings for her. Dan doesn't know what to think of it. February 2022. Phil and Cat's wedding. Dan reminisces over his past memories with Phil, and regrets not loving him back. The problem is: he is too late. A fanfiction inspired by a Phan video on YouTube called Let your lover go, by Sumirai.

Warning - this story contains self harm, abuse, swearing and maybe scenes of a sexual nature (if you're lucky ;)) Dan Howell is just an awkward teenager who moves to a new school to get away from the bullying. He has his many things he wants to keep a secret, including his sexuality. He doesn't want to end up hurt again. But then he crosses paths with the popular and gorgeous Phil Lester and from the moment he laid eyes on him he could tell that this boy with colourful t-shirts and a stunning smile was going to change his life forever. But is Phil hiding secrets of his own?

Dan knew his clumsiness would eventually cost him, but in this case, it happened in the most unimaginable way ever. It started with a rabbit. Dan watched it, startled at its bipedal abilities and how it had a human-like sense of hurry to it. After curiosity getting the best of him, he found himself falling down a rabbit's hole, and into a land where the laws of physics meant nothing, shape shifting humans were everywhere, caterpillars high on marijuana stood taller than him, a talking Cheshire Cat with a malicious smile greeted him, two twins that were up to no good, an evil queen obsessed with the color red, the overthrown sister of the evil queen known as the White Queen, and a lonely hatter by the name of Phil, who was strangely optimistic, way too emotional, and, dare Dan say it, mad. As bad as moving is, moving to the other side of the world is worse. As bad as high school is, being the new kid is even worse.
