Alright I suppose I do need to add context to this. This used to serve as a prologue to the book I was writing, until I realized that book kinda sucked. The main character was BORRRINGGGG and I was more interested in the grumpy old lady character and wanted her to have her own story. So I begun writing this, and eventually I discarded the original.
