Cats 1998 one shots?? Imagines?? Whatever I saw the trailer for the new one and I was like what in sam hill so I watched the old one and boy howdy have I got a hyperfixation and a half I've watched it four times in the last three days,,, mr mistoffelees can like... get it. I unfortunately, have become a furry. AND ALSO?? There's nothing out there so despite me being a terrible writer surely there is SOMEONE out there probably in four years or something that's gonna be desperate enough to read this. God what have they done to my sweet boy in the 2019 version. I'm still gonna watch it though. Good god are you still reading this?? Haven't I scared you off with all my crackhead energy? Welcome to The OC book! This is technically a book about ma OCs from Different Fandoms

How did Mr. Mistoffelees become a magical cat? Why does he seemingly have two names? Why does he love Bustopher Jones so much? Who are his parents? What is his relationship with the Rum Tum Tugger? And how does Victoria fit into all of this? All these questions and more will be addressed in this prequel novella to the musical Cats! Note: I'm mostly going off of the 1998 film, but will also include elements from the Broadway revival and Jacob Brent's commentary. If something doesn't make sense (for example, how anthropomorphic the cats are in any given scene) then just default to the 1998 version.
