Cinder and her sister Quince, are trapped in a world ridden by Bane and his evil packmates. When things take an absolute turn for the worst, Cinder, Quince, and a new friend must make their way through the valleys of Kismetarlind. Their quest is to find the first stone, the Banarr Stone, will reveal who they can really trust, and more importantly, who is really behind all the blood and death. "When the bane of Kismetarlind touches the stone, he will rule all, and the world will fall to the dark cat of the pack."

Two gangs of cats run the town of Winters, but their cease-fire is shaken by a failed assassination attempt on Dicky's life. Now, the leader of the Westside Tabbies is hell-bent on finding out who's responsible and if war needs to re-continue with those prissy Railroad Ragdolls. All told by Dicky himself in a first-person (or cat) story.
