This story is heavily inspired by the song " devil town " by cavetown After three years after Donnie's death, Anthony starts hallucinating that his dead friend is actually still alive. In Ant's dreams they go to this place called 'Devil Town' , eventually, Ant conivnces his sibling, Tammy, and, his twin cousins Evan Patters and Whitney Patters to go to Devil Town with him. Devil Town is also his safe place, and he starts going there frequently, to the point of him being there most of the time.
