Legends are true; The Traveler once helped humanity against the grimm before vanishing for thousands of years however now strange monsters are appearing all over Remnant along with strangers who fight against them. What happens when these monsters work with the grimm? Hell on Remnant. I know the summary may suck but the story is much better. I don't own RWBY it belongs to Rooster Teeth and Destiny belongs to Bungie and the cover art belongs to the original artist.

He isn't one of the famed Guardians or a son of a Vanguard or anything special. He is just a normal human teenager living under the Traveler just like everyone else. The Traveler...human-kind's savior...or is it? Jay is about to become a helluva lot more important than he ever thought he would be when everyone's world is rocked from the Reef to Mars and back!!

This follows the story of a girl with ambitions higher then her heels and goals farther then her sniper rifle can see. With a warning of caution from her good friend Washington, she heads out to reclaim what was lost to the Red Legion. But her reckless nature and stubborn attitude put her trapped under watch back on the farm. It's there she really starts getting to know her Vanguard, Cayde-6. They boil a plan, and go for an ass-kicking, Ghaul-fighting, Traveler-sized escape. But maybe they still have a few bumps to smooth out, because looking at the list of things to do to escape, falling in love with one another, was definitely not part it.

During a time of vast suffering and terrible evil, many survivors formed colonies in the wilderness in a desperate attempt to live. Humanity was on the brink of extinction but out of it, the Traveler sent out Ghosts to look for their Guardians to protect the last of mankind. However, some of the earliest Guardians chose not to protect the world, but subjugate it, becoming Warlords. One of the many famous Warlords was Lord Shaxx, who worked to protect the civilians within his care instead of vanquishing them. Guinevere Bradshaw was one of the many last survivors and just like them, she was ghostless. Shaxx found her in the woods, injured and trying to fend off some Fallen. The Warlord took her in and gave her an opportunity to prove her loyalty to him by working in his palace.

This was something I wanted to write for a while and here it is. I wanted to use my OC from destiny in this story and wanted to but this out to see if I could use this in another book/story. though that project still needs time to get off the ground but it will a good.....I hope.

Olympus was attacked by the darkness. All the gods died trying to defend themselves. Even Zeus was powerless. The Olympians died and a new God came. The Traveler. With his light he created the Guardians. Dead people were reborn as guardians and with Traveler's light they go against the darkness. But darkness is really powerful and the Traveler needs help. So, he creates a special ghost. A ghost looking like the others but far more powerful. A ghost which is fated to reborn a God. Artemis, one of the most powerful Olympians, daughter of Zeus and Lyto, big Apollo's twin sister, Goddess of the Hunt is reborn by that ghost. They both know nothing about their powers, their past or their destiny. Artemis, like all the Guardians, forgets her past. She doesn't hate men and she remembers nothing about her virginity vow. With the other gods dead, this oath means nothing. For a long time, humanity thought it was alone. Then the Traveler arrived. In its light, mankind expanded its horizons, reaching throughout the Solar System and advancing in several milestones. But this prosperity would not last. The Traveler's ancient enemy, the Darkness, found it. But it would not run this time. With its dying breath, the Traveler used its power to push back the Darkness. But exertion of power left it dormant, having used the last of its energy to create humanity's last hope: the Ghosts. Imbued with the Traveler's light, they were tasked with finding the next protectors of mankind. The Guardians, resurrected warriors with the power to wield the Traveler's Light in defense of The Last City. But the Darkness is not gone, and slowly but surely is beginning to creep back into the Solar System. It is now up to the Guardians to defend humanity. Time to rise up. This story will follow the adventures of a Fireteam of Guardians throughout the events of the Destiny games and respective expansions, along with some original storylines. You know what's worse than having your light taken away from you? Being reborn only months before your light was taken away from you. Light is what defines a guardian and for the Hunters, they need it more than ever. One of the few Hunters who still had a functioning Ghost after the Cabal invaded, Cecilia Rayner, was one of those who fought along side the Vanguard to take back the city even though it would mean certain death if they slipped up in any way. She was reborn only months before the invasion on the Last City. Her story is far different from the stories typically told of the hero Guardians but just as interesting.
