When a ghost possesses someone, there seems to be no difference physically. Sure, the infiltrated body may seem like a different character, but there's nothing to see. But as time goes on, things start changing. Slowly, but surely. First, it may be their hair being slightly lighter or fluffier. Then, their eye color seems unfamiliar. Their height may change, the body slowly morphing until it becomes the one of the spirit's recent life. But those are just rumors, right? Tales. Max hopes so.

Basically, Jasper didn't die in the cave. He was injured, but got far enough out of the cave in time not to be crushed by the debris. He left camp after that on a bad note with David, so pretty much what David thought happened ;~; poor bb.

They all met at a hospital when they were teenagers. When they all left, no one really tried to stay in touch. Jasper calls a suicide hotline. Goes to a hospital. Meets two people he never thought he'd see again.

David is the owner of the Pine Tree Bakery, in the cozy town of Cedar Creek. He meets a person new in town, Jasper, and they hit it off immediately, their friendship slowly growing. Could it be made into something more?

Quick note: This is kinda short and there isn't much dadvid or anything. It was mainly a practice fic to learn to get my ideas out. However, there will be two new stories coming soon. After one faithful night, Max discovered Jasper while exploring a mysterious noise across the lake from Spooky Island. However, upon exiting the island, a certain demon follows him off. Hi this is trash but like, I "accidentally" made this for a realistic fiction short story in my LA class and thought I would share lmaooo - contains some angsty Jaspvid also death and pain and hospitals and chaos because I like to watch people suffer. It's been 14 years since Jasper has stepped foot in Camp Campbell.
