Basically, Jasper didn't die in the cave. He was injured, but got far enough out of the cave in time not to be crushed by the debris. He left camp after that on a bad note with David, so pretty much what David thought happened ;~; poor bb.

Camp had been stressful for David, stressful was putting it lightly and Gwen gives a suggestion that to David doesn't sound like a bad idea

David is the owner of the Pine Tree Bakery, in the cozy town of Cedar Creek. He meets a person new in town, Jasper, and they hit it off immediately, their friendship slowly growing. Could it be made into something more?

They all met at a hospital when they were teenagers. When they all left, no one really tried to stay in touch. Jasper calls a suicide hotline. Goes to a hospital. Meets two people he never thought he'd see again.

David was watching over the campers like usual, until Max, Neil and Nikki came up to him, convincing him there was a fire at Spooky Island, once they got there he found out there was no fire, but his dead best friend.
