Hi, where are you from? Where is your home? What's your favourite country? If you have trouble answering these questions, then this book is the one for you. I am Annabella and I am a Third Culture Kid. I am an American born Indonesian Chinese. I have lived in America, China, Singapore and Indonesia. For my whole life, I have moved around a lot and because of this, I struggle to answer the 3 basic questions that most people can answer. I grew up outside of my home culture and my parents' culture so I have been exposed to all kinds of culture from around the world. However, there are challenges that I face in daily life. I have been through culture shock, losing friends, having to recreate my whole life and identity and above all, anxiety and depression. I began to wonder, Who am I? Am I American? Chinese? Singaporean? Indonesian? Most importantly, Where do I belong? And Where is home?
