Ophelia's story was never destined to be happy. Her father died when she was 4, her mother while she was 14.
Ophelia Paisley lives in District Eight. Well, she used to.
Ophelia is a journalist, reporting for Panem Today. Every day, her writing occupies a column on the annual event, The Hunger Games, signed off by her name. She lives in a luxurious apartment in the Capitol, fulfilling her dream of writing. Despite her tragic past, she finds a way to come to peace with herself.
That is until the 74th annual Hunger Games, when Ophelia begins to question whether what she thinks is right and wonder if she is truly doing the right thing staying in the Capitol. Will she be able to breech the cocoon of safety she calls her home to play her part in the revolution?
If I do ever publish this, my writing is absolutely atrocious, so proceed if you wish ; you have been warned.
This is also massively inspired by "MASTER OF THE GAMES ⋆ F. ODAIR" by "dahliaswishes" as in the 'life in the Capitol' theme, and she is a fantastic writer so please read it.
