Belladonna is the youngest daughter of an upstanding gifted merchant, sir Alloces vone Rose, a cold man with a short temper, living life as if she were a stain on her family name behind closed doors simply because she showed no signs of possessing the same gift, she longs for a way out of her prison, when she is suddenly thrown back in time she decides to try and change her life for the better, but with so many obstacles in her way will she be able to get her happy ending?
