Cecile is a duchess. She lives in a mansion, her father having left for diplomatic reasons and her mother dead, she is in charge. She leads a peaceful life, until one day her house maid, Delfine is murdered. Cecile's life becomes a game of who did it, when the thirty permanent residents are picked off one by one. The young duchess, who is 15, takes matters into her own hands by each night when everyone sleeps (Except killers.) interrogating residents. Each morning when sun shines brightest the residents must decide who did it, otherwise they will never live again. With some of the people of Salem Manor being investigative, and others working together to pick off the other residents, a few even speak to the dead. Cecile must learn to avoid a killer if she is ever to lead a normal life again.

Arlo is trained to adhere to the hierarchy, just like everyone else. Rei believes that everyone, no matter how strong, should be treated equally. It's Rei's last year at Wellston High and it's his job to prepare Arlo to become King once he leaves. How can these two change Wellston, when they have completely different ideologies?
