After receiving a mysterious letter, Carlos and his group of scientists move to a small desert town called nightvale to investigate and study. they soon find out just how impossible Night vale is.....and what dangers it has as well. ( sorry im really bad at descriptions, this is my first story and I hope you guys enjoy it. My story takes place before and during the first episode btw. If none of you know what Welcome to Nightvale is, then google it and listen to it beause it is awesome)

Cecil and Carlos are asked to watch Cecil's niece while her parents are on vacation.

Cecil is an openly gay member of his high school's swim team. However, being openly gay comes with its own set of problems. He wants to move and get a fresh start, but he wants to have a little fun first. Carlos is studying to be a scientist, and has a summer job as a lifeguard. When these two are paired together in science to work on a long, difficult project, they truly begin to understand what it means to go past the stereotypes and break the rules.

People arrive in strange ways in strange towns, only for things to become stranger, only for strangers to become friends, and for science to become abstract. Carlos, a scientist-- the scientist, comes to Night Vale through a solid oak door, and is left to grapple with the world he is thrown into-- a world of no comfort, and a world of no certainty. Carlos finds his only solace in a small radio, the tinny voice of a friend grumbling through the plastic. Carlos must find his way in a town a little west of nowhere.

Cecil is a popular boy at his school but one day everything changed: A new boy with perfect hair, teeth like a military cemetery and the voice of an angel arrives and he falls in love with him. ((Also I'm making Carlos trans in this story :3))

Ever since he'd arrived in Nightvale (having long forgotten how exactly he got there), Carlos has been on a roll. Having found a scientific heaven all to himself, he is learning more on a daily basis than most scientists ever dream of discovering during their whole lives. just an update before some chapters just to say that i am not dead i simply took a break from writing and it lasted longer then i thought it would.
