Starting college in Texas is scary, to say the least. Not only do you not have your parents around to help you, you also have a new house to take care of. As a youtuber, you need the space. But what happens when you meet your next door neighbor and his friends? For the record, this is a James x reader book. James is a mighty king who is tired of suitors who only 'love' him for his title and the hope they will become queen. Taking matters into his own hands, he decides to disguise himself as a commoner to try and find someone who loves him for who he is. While in disguise, he meets (Y/n), a peasant who just wants to find love. He immediately feels a connection with her when he stumbles into her humble tailor shop. Imagine (Y/n)'s surprise when she discovers her new suitor is the king she's been worshipping for years.
