When he finally does, he finds a real family. One that he feels safe with, not one that was decided for him due to his blood. Harry is a perfectly normal wizard. His parents helped defeat Voldemort before he had a chance to destroy them. Now he's in his fourth year at Hogwarts and very happy with his new boyfriend, Cedric Diggory, the Hogwarts Triwizard champion. idk, just my opinions I guess, it'll be short but I just wanna write these down somewhere

Harry Potter runs away from the Dursley's, but is killed by William Afton and an unfinished animatronic that William ordered to kill him. Harry possesses said unfinished animatronic and finishes it, but his soul isn't trapped inside it, so he returns to Dursley's, continues to live his torture, and still attends Hogwarts.

Basically this is my first fanfic, and I'm crazy about Harry Potter so yeah haha hope you like it, not sure where it's going or what the pairing is the will probably be a poll unless I decide soon. It's about a Harry who grew up with a caring Family, not to mention an absolutely polar opposite version if him, it will probably end up with some crossovers at some point, with either Harry incorporating things from other series and such or him actually meeting such people, if you want me to make him meet them briefly, I could add them or mention the in passing. Cho was talking, but Cedric wasn't listening. His mind was back at the quiddich pitch... because he had caught it. Not the snitch, but Harry's hand. For centuries what the Diggory family calls the "soulmate pendent" has been passed from father to son. Before Cedric every man in the family had the pendent appeare before thier 17 birthday. Cedric was slowly nearing the deadline of the family tradition. and if Cedric fails to find his soulmate he would break the family tradition and dis honer the great house of Diggory. ~harry lay on the grass, panting. blood smeared his robes. "go!" he urged cedric. he couldn't believe that cedric wasn't running to the cup. he was risking losing the chance of glory that hufflepuff haven't felt in a long time. cedric stayed put, his arms crossed "i can't even walk properly!" harry insisted "just go!" "no" cedric stood his ground defiantly. he reached out a hand to help harry. harry thought for a few seconds, then took his hand. he hobbled on one foot. his ankle was painful. "we'll do it together then?" harry asked. cedric nodded slightly "It'll be a hogwarts win" they both leaned forward and grabbed the triwizard cup. it glowed blue and shook.

Edit: should I continue this guys set in harry potter's fourth year, the story starts as the great hall fills with confusion after hearing harry's name called from the goblet of fire, announcing his participation in the triwizard tournament. as the tournament tests all four of it's participants, two of them find an unlikely friendship that has the potential to blossom into something more... an addition to the small collection of harry x cedric fan fictions! all characters belong to j.k. rowling, i didn't add any myself. i also kept the storyline that she originally wrote for the goblet of fire, despite the feelings between cedric and harry.
