She never wanted to be anything different. Until Nyx fell into her life. Now, faced with having to leave Nyx forever, Estelle doesn't know how to say goodbye. She doesn't know how to go back to the way things were before, before the son of the Night Court crash-landed into her kingdom and somehow stole her heart without ever trying. She isn't sure she wants to. Nyx and Estelle are faced with an impossible scenario, one where no one can possibly come out the other side unscathed. But they took this leap of faith together. It seems only fitting that they land together, too. No matter what may await them when they reach the end. (This is set after the events of ACOSF and Kingdom of Ash! This is a poem I wrote inspired by Celaena Sardothien from the novel Throne of Glass. Credit to Sarah J. Maas for her character and setting, for this is inspired greatly from that.
