When the Elven Lord had children he promised to watch over them just the same. Melenia was born not long before the death of her farther Thingol King of Doriath. She had been raised by the lady Galadriel and her husband lord Celeborn, but had no interaction with the world outside of Lothlorien. Until one day she decides that there would be nothing left for her if she stayed. What happens two hundred years later when she comes upon an unsuspecting company of dwarves, along with a hobbit and a wizard. Will she help them to reclaim their home and could she possibly find one of her own in the process. Sorry for the horrible description if you need a better one then have a read of the prologue it explains a lot more. She felt the presence of elves and knew it was one of the elven forests on Arda. Her father had taught her all about the razes of middle-earth, and she needed to know aculaløy. A rudimentary rewrite of the Rings of Power. Our overlords, headed by the Dark Lord Bezos, have sullied The One Tolkien's prophecy. I present to you my head-cannon rewrite of the show. I also will be using more source material than the bastardized show, but even with my best effort of research and understanding of the Silmarillion et cetera, I cannot promise my retelling will take into account every ounce of lore that has ever been written of Ea. Note: My prose and linguistic skills will never rival the likes of Tolkien, but I have a deep appreciation and care for his storytelling. I will try my best to give respect to his original works and tone but just know that (I believe) no one has ever rivaled his skill, therefore mine will be no different. At least I am not motivated by turning a profit by commodifying a deeply spiritual legendarium carefully crafted by one of the best artists of all time. Ellendil let the arrow fly from her bow as she said, "I orcs gar- reached i fen!" She jumped over an orc and slid her sword through its back as she turned her gaze on the elf behind her. "Híril Ellendil, I orcs will nia nor- ammen!" the elf said. Ellendil blinked and looked around. "No, they won't," she said when she finally spotted what/who she was looking for. Without a moment's hesitation she flung herself into the fray, striking down any orc that got in her way. Blood splattered her face and finally, she leaped into a tree, drew her bow and loaded an arrow. "Híril Ellendil!" The moon shone in the night sky, and the cold chill of the night air made her breath chilling. She stared at the roaring figure and muttered, "Take down the leader, and you take down the army." Time seemed to stop as she let the arrow fly. It sped through the air slowly, and even slower, the head of the huge figure turned. But it was too late. The arrow struck him in the head, and he fell, dead. "Elldendil! Bellow cin!" Legolas called through the retreating orcs. The tree was shaking, and the orcs swarmed it. Ellendil let more arrows fly, but before she could leap to another tree the branch snapped and she fell into black. * * * Ellendil, younger sister to Legolas, and daughter to Thranduil longs to see beyond Mirkwood. Her deepest desire was to explore beyond Mirkwood, and she did not keep it hidden. With many attempts to escape she is confined to the kingdom and not allowed to enter the trees. In the end she gives up her dream, but all that changes when she meets Elmen. And across the land in Lothlórien the daughter of Galadriel, Elbereth, has not yet found her true love. And in Rivendell, the sister of Arwen and daughter of Elrond, Luthien, is striving to be the best medic she can be. (Ellendil, Elmen, Luthien, and Elbereth are my fanfiction characters.
