"Once upon a time, in the dusty outskirts of a city named Kemzar, there lived a little thief". Zoya has never stolen anything in her entire life. In fact up until a few years ago she was the spoiled, sheltered (and incredibly rude) daughter of the wealthiest merchant on the entire continent. Somehow she has found herself in the dungeon of the tyrant ruler of Dalí, King Ardashir II, for crimes she most certainly did not commit. But The King has plans for Zoya, plans which involve heisting three golden apples from the Sun, The Moon and the Stars. With the somewhat unwilling aid of the King's stoic enchanter Zahir, Zoya must embark on an impossible quest from the founding myths of her country, and find a way to save her family from the mad king, or risk losing everything her shallow little heart has ever cared about.
