When I approached them, they ran What did I do wrong? When I just stood there, they would rant As if they were singing a song I tried to be nice, but was answered with contempt I wanted to speak out but if I did so, I would surely be filled with regret "Why was I even born?" I had come to ask myself "Was it to be hated?" When all I wanted was to be loved I had wished to end it all, but fate had something else planned, and I was granted happiness for a time But that happiness was short lived and I found myself fighting once more, not to get by each day wishing for death, But to live 06/12/16 - ??/??/??
