"How could we have drifted so far from them? How could we have left them to their own devices? Left them alone...?" The answer to that question lies buried deep in the heritage of a young harpy named Eve. And only perseverance will grant it. But the sacrifice that comes with discovery is too great to mention. In a world once riddled with beings deemed mere myth, it now hangs on the edge of a knife. Humanity has never needed them more. Has Eve endangered every life on planet Earth? Or has she given them a chance, a chance to restart. To begin a new era where humanity can walk alongside their forgotten allies. In this modern fantasy novel the question of morality between human and harpy is challenged to the limit and there will be losses on both sides... Harpies, humans, werewolves and Angels, Eve will find herself faced with them all...

Arianne Quagmire is a Court Fairy Doctor since she was seven. She is having a peaceful life when all of a sudden, her life took a big turn after Edmund Tudor invites her on a quest to find his clan's lost treasure, the Sapphire Sword, forged by the merrow. This is not an ordinary quest, however. It is a quest of wits, bravery, and trust. Will a group comprised of a selfish marquis, a serious fairy doctor, an overly-lively witch, an arrogant priestess, an ill-tempered earl and a group of weird triplets be able to complete the quest, ALIVE? Completing tests and facing challenges will surely determine who is fit to handle the legendary Sword. But in the end, will they get it when it doesn't belong to them in the first place?

Star Norwood has often wondered at the strange silvery mark on her brow, but her parents never could explain it. Then on her graduation day she discovers they aren't her real parents. A journey to the mysterious wood where she was found soon explains much, including the odd dreams she's had since a child, of unicorns, a mysterious elf-man in need of her help, and general Impending Doom. Soon she is plunged into an adventure in fairy lands, both wondrous and dangerous. As she struggles to undo the spell binding her to the mysterious Fae man that can shift into the shape of a unicorn, she comes to terms with her own unicorn-related powers--and deals with the reality of falling for a man of the Seelie Courts, the Fae Folk. Together they embark on a quest to save her true parents from the clutches of Arawn, Lord of the Unseelie Underworld, and to recover a fabled alicorn bracelet, said to undo any spell that touches it. Throughout all of this, Star wrestles with the question of who she is, and who she could be. Maybe, just maybe, Who One Is, is something more than how you look, or who your parents were. Can one, perhaps, choose who they wish to be?
