When Tigan Ward discovers an ancient book and a letter from her long-lost father, her dull life in rainy Cardiff is turned upside down. A bronze key, Celtic runes, and a name her mother never allowed her to speak lead her to the Isle of Man - to a forgotten manor perched on a cliff and steeped in legend. But this isn't just an inheritance. It's a gate. On the other side lies Eire - a land where ancient bards sing songs that shape reality, where princesses hide from gods, and war eclipses the stars. In Erin, the past breathes, and fates intertwine across centuries. Tigan is a modern woman with a leather jacket and a sharp tongue. Killian is the last bard of Erin - wounded, stubborn, and haunted by loss. Their meeting is either chance or the echo of an ancient prophecy. As old enemies awaken, a long-forgotten song begins to rise again. And it demands to be heard.

In the aftermath of Dash's disappearance, Pluto wants nothing more than to just hide out down in the Grosvenor Square Laboratory with Christopher and never face the world again. Unfortunately, it's not that simple. Andy's begged Pluto to be the one to find the family that abandoned her in London, leaving her with no knowledge of her Shadowhunter heritage. And when Pluto's bulletin at the Shadow Market dredges up Andy's father with unprecedented speed, the story he tells is far from pretty. It's a story that goes back eight years to Amsterdam, to Pluto's Dutch cousins, and to the frightening possibility that Pluto might not be who - or what - xe thought xe was. Or, small children, detectives, and faeries vs. the plot of The Last Hours.

Eight years since her run, Sarah has long since convinced herself that the Labyrinth and all those inside it was a dream. She hasn't seen hide nor hair of a goblin since that awful night, and doubts she ever will again. Content rating for now is pg-13, but may change with the story. I will preface each chapter with a trigger warning for the usual (blood, gore, sexual themes, etc). This is also being posted and updated on my ao3, under the username Giohanna. I do not claim ownership to any characters; I only claim the story.

Celtic mythology is the mythology of Celtic polytheism, the religion of the Iron Age Celts. Like other Iron Age Europeans, the early Celts maintained a polytheistic mythology and religious structure. Among Celts in close contact with Ancient Rome, such as the Gauls and Celtiberians, their mythology did not survive the Roman Empire, their subsequent conversion to Christianity, and the loss of their Celtic languages. It is mostly through contemporary Roman and Christian sources that their mythology has been preserved. The Celtic peoples who maintained either their political or linguistic identities (such as the Gaels in Ireland and Scotland, and the Celtic Britons of southern Great Britain and Brittany) left vestigial remnants of their ancestral mythologies, put into written form during the Middle Ages. - 2019 -Completed-

{Rivers & Gates, Pt. IV} Pluto's not sure if she's ever recovering from the cleansing ritual they performed for the goblins living under the Wiltshire Downs. Haunted by their vision of Christopher lying dead and fearing their uselessness in the upcoming war, Pluto does what she always does: she looks for solutions. It's going to be a nasty search, one that will take Pluto down a dark and deadly path, one from which, if she's not careful, they may not return. Lies, stolen research, ritual, and trippily vivid dreams of Dash in an uncomfortably familiar hell-it's all leading somewhere. And for the first time, Pluto can't see the ending. Or, Lovecraftian faeries, the power of polyamory, and a double-albert watch chain vs. the plot of Chain of Thorns

Not going to lie, I wrote this in year 7. I'm kind of only putting it on Wattpad because it's kind of funny. As my bio reads, I'm into mythology. I know next to nothing about Irish mythology, but I did a little research before I wrote this story. It was actually an assignment for IT of all classes, and we were given 4 things to add into a story: An angry man, an aggressive bird, A lush jungle, and a boat. Hopefully you won't cringe too much.

Two weeks. Two weeks off was all the praetor of New Rome was granted, and Reyna fully intended to make them count. She was going to stay in her apartment, eat nothing but Ben and Jerry's and takeout, and watch the Food Network until Guy Fieri took her pureed mind to Flavor Town. Just two weeks of peace and quiet with no Frank to hound, no Hazel telling her to be nicer to the baby-man, and best of all: no paperwork. But an unexpected (and unwelcome) visit from the Daughters of Athena and Aphrodite forces her across the sea to a land that is steeped in magic, mystery, and Doctor Who merch. And now she's waking up with world's worst hangover, as some ancient queen is kidnapping Annabeth while screaming about her hate-on for Romans. Yay...

Aiden Elam doesn't quite fit in with the other kids in the mortal world, and for good reason. When the Morrigan, the Celtic goddess of war, kidnaps him and drags him off to Eile, he soon learns there is far more to his strange life than he ever thought possible. Aiden's heritage, much to his surprise, connects directly to the high queen of Eile, and when she insists he spend his summers in her realm, Aiden and his family are understandably hesitant. With the Morrigan defeated and the dark magic of the Otherworld up for contention, this new world Aiden belongs to isn't exactly safe. But deep in the heart of Eile there is an ancient forest protected from the dark beings and harmful magic of this enchanting realm - a place Aiden might find refuge and perhaps, if he's lucky, discover his first real friend.

This book is in the process of being written, it is about Fianna, a young goddess, daughter of the Celtic goddess of healing herbs and the god of the underworld. In this book she will find love, family, and figure out the secrets the government is trying to hide. She will find out once and for all if the power of love is stronger than hatred. There will be a love interest! Please bear with me as I write this story, there are parts depicted with realism and I've tried to base most of my Celtic mythology implants off research I've done on the internet. I'm still learning and would love any notes you have! I am planning to update at least weekly. I hope you enjoy reading this story as much as I have writing it:)

TW: descripitions of violence, death, psychological horror-ish Hellooo, I am writing 52 short stories in 52 weeks, I just changed the definition of 1 week of life to 1 week of writing (500 words a day is the minimum for it to count as a day of writing), so updates may be slow. Also, I read a short story of Edgar Allan Poe cuz he invented short stories and I wanted some inspiration and hell did I get some. My way of writing has completely changed to the better bc of him (I write in the characters voice and not the author voice anymore and my pacing is def better) and I hope to improve even more by writing these short stories. It's a short story (obvsly) about folklore in the industrial times in england. Keep that in mind while reading and thanks for reading this long description, hope you'll enjoy it!

The day I walked into Dona High was the day I became someone I never thought I could. I mean, who could ever guess me, Nuria Keegan, would ever be- well, I guess I'll just let you find that out later. Sorry to be so mysterious but I tend to get ahead of myself so I better just tell my story in order.

In the shadow of Rome's conquest, a child is born of two worlds-Alonwyn, daughter of an African soldier torn from Aethiopia and a Celtic woman of Gaul. Orphaned by violence and raised by a druid who teaches her the old ways, she grows into a woman revered for her voice, her wisdom, and the uncanny depth of her gaze. But when Rome's legions return to burn her village and desecrate the sacred grove, grief and fury awaken a power darker than she ever imagined. In the ashes of her people, the goddess Carthwyn-she who governs death and sacred terror-offers Alonwyn the Bone Harp, an instrument strung with sorrow itself. With it, she may summon vengeance so absolute it would stain the earth forever. Alonwyn must choose: surrender her spirit to the goddess and let her song become a dirge of death, or defy the divine, bearing the weight of memory rather than bloodshed. Her journey is one of mourning and defiance, where music becomes both wound and healing, and where the gods themselves test the limits of mortal resolve. Myth and history entwine in The Bone Harp, a story of ancestry, vengeance, and the redemptive power of memory. Through Alonwyn's struggle, we are reminded that even in a world devoured by empire, there is strength in refusing to forget-and in choosing life when death beckons.
