Elly decides to visit the town of Sepulcrum when she hears about the murder of her ex-boyfriend, who had moved to Sepulcrum in recent years. As Elly explores the town, she is haunted by the lingering feeling that something is not quite right with the people of Sepulcrum. Old cases arise and the difference between Elly's ex's murder and the recent town suicides become unclear. Is it possible that the youth of Sepulcrum are under the affects of a suicidal drug? Was Nathan (Elly's ex) really murdered or was his death just a suicide made to look like a murder? The deeper Elly gets into the town's business, the more her past and present collide and Elly finds herself filled with regret, but of what?

Short Story

A short story that I wrote for my mocks. I don't want to tell the story line as it will give it away. But it has a plot twist ending.

Wizard robes and white lab coats, ancient wands and polished microscopes... Science and sorcery have always been at opposite ends of the board, clashing again and again throughout the ages. Now though, a headstrong apprentice witch and a manic wannabe scientist are going against all the rules in order to do the impossible; by combining their abilities they unlock the power of time travel, and now all of history is theirs to explore. But it soon becomes clear their adventures will be anything but easy... In this story, apprentice witch Vesta and unconventional scientist Toby find themselves lost and surrounded by darkness. It was meant to be a simple trip into the past, but somehow they have ended up in a dark realm of tombstones and graves. And now, things are moving in the shadows... 'Science And Sorcery' came about from an idea I developed after a number of conversations with a friend of mine. Initially it was just a fun thought idea, but after thinking about it some more I decided to write a one-off short story. I ended up falling in love with the characters so much that one story turned into more (three at time of posting), and so here we are. I've decided to put all of the current stories on here in one go. Bare in mind, these are unfinished ideas that have developed as I went from one to another, so there may be some inconsistencies. As for the future of this series, I'm not sure yet. I really enjoy writing them and the characters are some of my favourites, so who knows where we might end up. Stay tuned :D
