He lived in the Maplewood Avenue (Brookhaven, Suffolk, New York) with his wife Connie Centineo (31 years old), son Phillip Centineo (10 years old), and daughter Rose Centineo (12 years old). His grandfather (also called Santo Centineo) emigrated from Italy at the age of 43. He married in New York City in 1866, and died on September 5, 1903, before his grandson Santo was born.
