No cóż, nie byli to moi prawdziwi rodzice, tylko adopcyjni. Nie ukrywali przede mną tego faktu, za co byłam im wdzięczna. Tylko dla nich byłam miła. Pamiętam dokładnie ten dzień, kiedy mi ich odebrano. Wracałam do domu po krótkim spacerze. Zauważyłam dym, więc zaczęłam szybko biec. Przed moim domem stała straż pożarna. Wszystko stało w płomieniach. Chciałam wbiec do środka, poszukać rodziców, ale zatrzymała mnie ręka jednego ze strażaków. Próbowałam się wyrywać, ale to na nic się nie zdało. Zrozpaczona upadłam na kolana. Łzy przysłoniły mi widok na wszystko. Wstrząsnęły mną dreszcze .Niedługo potem przyjechała policja. Pożar już ugaszono, a z moich rodziców został tylko popiół. Chcieli mnie wziąć na komisariat, aby później zawieźć mnie z powrotem do domu dziecka. Gdy tylko to usłyszałam wstałam szybko na nogi i zaczęłam uciekać. Nie udało im się mnie złapać. Byłam za szybka. Od tego czasu mieszkam na ulicy. Nie mam domu, ale i tak go nie potrzebuję. Daję sobie jakoś radę. Mam pieniądze, co tydzień śpiewam w klubie, za co całkiem nieźle mi płacą. Śpię w starym, opuszczonym budynku. Nikt tam nigdy nie wchodzi, lepiej dla mnie. Westchnęłam cicho i postanowiłam wracać, zrobiło się już całkowicie ciemno. Czemu moje życie jest takie straszne? Mam dopiero 16 lat, a zostałam bez nikogo na świecie. Za jakie grzechy?
