It all started when a little girl got kidnapped. My name is Senica and I was raised to be an assassin. I didn't have what people would call a 'normal childhood', to say the least. I grew up in a military compound, all by myself. Now, I know you're wondering 'who the hell does that to their kid?' Well, that's a bit complicated so I'll explain in a bit. Now I'm having some seriously weird dreams, but I can never seem to remember them. All I know is I keep watching someone die over and over again and well, let's just say it's taking it's toll. I need to figure out what the hell these dreams are, and for the love of all things holy, I need to get out of here...

This is the story of Rory's experience throughout the 2,000 years he stood guard before the Pandorica. Enjoy.

This is mainly a five part idiosyncratic reflection on the life of Jesus of Nazareth; someone whom many people with little time for religion still find attractive. It is mostly from a talk I gave in 1988 while visiting a church in Pennsylvania. Please make allowance for this context in what I have written. I am not trying to proselytise. I believe that, whatever path we follow, the important thing is to come to a point where we live, not to gain God's approval, but to respond to his** love. For me, that love is embodied in Jesus. * Ecce Homo (John 19:5) - the Latin words with which Pontius Pilate, the Roman Governor, presented the scourged Jesus to his accusers before sending him to be crucified. ** When I speak of God as 'he' I am not assigning a gender; but I am not willing to tie language up in knots in order to be politically correct. Feminists beware! (but really I approve of what you stand for.)

But they haven’t planned on the greed, lust, and violence that winds around the lives of the people of Rome as surely as the Tiber winds through the city itself. One by one, the main characters are separated and the future becomes darker and darker. But in Lucius, Livilla, and Jace, the old Roman virtues—bravery and loyalty—are strong. Whatever the outcome, there will be mighty struggles and proud deeds.

When Oleandra, a beautiful but deadly Insurgio assassin is captured by the Romans, she is prepared for the pain, torture and possible death sentence which looms before her. She, however, is not prepared for the annoyingly handsome and unexpectedly moral Centurion Desmond to save her from the one fate she cannot handle. At first reluctant to accept Desmond's seemingly harmless motives, Oleandra is furious with him for convincing her that she is safer pretending to be his personal concubine rather than simply freeing her. While a reluctant bond is formed between assassin and Centurion, Oleandra begins to develop feelings for the young, humble-beginninged colonel. But as she discovers dark secrets about Desmond's acting Legatus, General Conus, and his plans behind the Roman siege on her homeland, she realizes that she may have stumbled into the Insurgio Tribes' only chance for survival. Can she trust Desmond enough to ask him to betray everything he knows in order to save her people? Action, romance, adventure and drama all collide in this historical fiction thriller. *Note: Please look at the people who I have casted for parts. I'm not very good at descriptions and seeing the actors will give you a better idea. **I was thinking of officially discontinuing this story but, after reading it I think I'm ready to get back into it! Stay tuned because I think I'm going to start writing again! ***I've changed who I've cast for Desmond-Colton wasn't really the look I imagined and I found a random model who was exactly what I pictured-so I've added photos of the characters into mixed media (Oleandra in Notes and Vocab and Desmond in Chapter 1)

Wrestling with questions of family, faith, morality and forgiveness, these characters attempt to reconcile the same internal and external struggles subjugating our flesh to the guidance of the Spirit, that we even today as Believers must ponder, face and conquer.
