The Wedding Bells That Didn't Sing
The golden lights of the grand Seoul hotel sparkled like a thousand stars, but for YN, everything felt dull, colorless, and cold. Her heart thudded slowly, heavy under the weight of a wedding she never dreamed of, to a man who looked at her like she was invisible.
The soft rhythm of classical music played in the background. Guests filled the hall with laughter and excitement, yet Taehyung stood beside her-stiff, silent, and cold. His black tuxedo fit him like royalty, his face expressionless, jaw clenched. He hadn't even looked her in the eyes.
YN tried to smile for the cameras, for the elders, for the world watching them. Her tan skin glowed under the wedding lights, her long lashes trying to hide the storm in her eyes. "You're not what I imagined as a wife," his words from last night echoed in her mind. Not fair enough. Not classy enough. Not good enough for Kim Taehyung.
She clutched her bouquet a little tighter.
But I will not break.
Her eyes found Jungkook across the hall-her best friend since childhood. He gave her a small nod, as if reminding her: You're stronger than you think. Beside him, Jisoo, her other constant, offered a gentle smile, eyes filled with silent prayers.
Taehyung's phone buzzed. He glanced at it and quickly put it back in his pocket. Yuna. YN didn't need to see it to know. She was the woman he truly loved. Everyone knew. Everyone whispered.
"Let's just get this over with," Taehyung muttered, his voice low and harsh.
YN didn't reply. She stared straight ahead, refusing to let him see the pain he caused.
