Harry is thirteen and trapped within a "Neurological Catastrophe" he cannot name. Louis is sixteen, his muscles surrendering to the "System Failure" of SMA. On a final, high-stakes road trip toward the coast, two boys who cannot speak, walk, or hold their own weight find a "Slow-Motion" language in the hum of their ventilators. A devastating look at the strength found in total vulnerability, and the "True Hero" legacy of those the world often overlooks.

Official OST: https://youtu.be/fgbuxrkwbdw The Prophecy is Complete. The Revenge is Personal. In the shadowed streets of 2028 Shanghai, where neon lights hide ancient vendettas, Lucernian Princess Reia Shiina fights to protect a fragile peace forged from the ashes of the Great Wars. But when her obsessive adopted sister, Mai, unleashes a deadly plot, Reia must confront betrayal from her past-life brothers, Kuzan, Lu Chao, and Imperial heir Barry, threatening to unravel everything she holds dear. Living with cerebral palsy mitigated by qi energy and unbreakable love, Reia awakens her daughter Winter through ribbons of fate, bonds with fiancée Anaya via the Harmony Blades, and wields evolved spirit weapon Gekko in high-stakes battles across Tokyo, Pakistan, and the Himalayas. As Purple Qi viruses corrupt the stars and Imperial forces strike homes and hearts, Reia evolves beyond her limitations, turning personal sacrifice into planetary salvation. State of Zero is a gripping tale of dark romance, family devotion, and resilient power, where love defies empires and evolution redefines destiny. Will Reia safeguard her world, or will the cost of zero-state peace claim her soul? This story takes place 40 years after the events of Radiant Phantasy, but in an alternate universe.

*ON HIATUS sorry for the wait* Nobody better be feeling sorry for Will, the fast-talking, fast-rolling twelve-year-old who happens to have cerebral palsy. Will Fortin is unstoppable, the fastest kid on two-wheels in his school. He figures he's more than sharp enough to figure out what happened to his father, with the help of his friend Meg. Since his mother died keeping all her secrets, locating a secondary parental unit is kind of a priority. Not that Will needs a home--he pretty much runs the show at Lakeland Manor, the group home where he lives now--but every kid needs a dad to send birthday money and show up for graduation, right? Meghan Fehr is child number three of six in her hard-working farm-family and, up until now, she's been happy to blend in with all the other boys--her older brother Luke and the twins. But apparently her body has other plans. Nobody makes her feel more alive than her friend Will, with his big dreams and his big personality. They're making plans for an epic summer together and it feels like even when her body won't do all the things she wants, anything is possible with Will. A summer of secrets and discovery, of cows and horses and possibly a poodle or two thrown in. A stand-alone novel set in the world of Hiding and For Us.

In the town of Carbondale live multiple teens with much different stories than usual. Marcus Bonn, a sixteen year old sophomore, has been living with cerebral palsy his whole life due to a failed abortion attempt by his homophobic, abusive redneck family. He realizes he is gay, but would be beaten if his family found out. So he pursues his secret life by drawing paintings and keeping them "in his closet." When he meets a boy that will change his life, his life changes for the good, but Marcus's dark past could trigger horrible outcomes, or, could it be positive change? Jake Leeds, seventeen, is also hiding a big secret: he's a gay music lover! But, all of Carbondale sees him as a straight jock. He's outed when his teenage hormones make him show a homosexual act in the locker room towards a boy named David, making him lose all of his friends and personal respect. His sister, Haley, is in Marcus's class and is very close to him, but a dark past and secret feelings of her own will cause her relationship with herself and her family to plummet. When Jake meets Marcus, the two immediately bond, but the pathway to full trust is shaky. After all, Marcus, the poor kid with the disabilities isn't hiding any other secrets of his own, is he? David Hernandez is a Mexican student studying at Carbondale, but he is facing problems of his own. When the local authorities find out that David's father has been living undocumented, anything but the truth can keep this family together. Three anonymous writers who tell their own Carbondale High stories cause three huge problems to corrupt the city of Carbondale, but the problem is, who are they? Story is still being written, and changes are being made. Copyright, Nathan Bailey. 2017

In 2004, connection sounds like dial-up tones and feels like waiting for a message to appear. A lonely freshman finds comfort in late-night AOL chats with someone halfway across the world-someone who listens, who doesn't ask questions she's tired of answering. But when another name appears on her screen, louder and more curious than the first, the space between messages starts to feel a lot smaller. A slow-burn love triangle told through music, online conversations, and the quiet moments in between.

For the past several months, I have been compiling a disability themed short story anthology with help from various staff members at my university. In this book, I'll be talking about the entire anthology creation process from conception to publication. I'm hoping to help anyone who is interested in creating their own short story anthology while also providing writers with valuable insight into the story selection process. If you have any questions or topics you'd like me to cover, please leave a comment or message me. Cover by @smolseal
