Kaeya and Childe started off seeing each other behind the backs of their comrades. Childe soon liked being around Kaeya , he soon grew feelings, Kaeya did too. These feelings grew as they spent time with each other where Childe finally proposed at the top of dragonspine. Waiting for their wedding to come, Kaeya had to flee to complete a quest and was sadly sent away to dragonspine where he never returned. He was pronounced dead since his disappearance and some broken carriages on the mountains. Years flew by, and Childe finally met another, Zhongli. His new fiancé. Childe went back to dragonspine, as he was practicing his vows and put the ring on what he thought was a branch, someone familiar came from the ground.
