Ink-e-Dil
In the heart of Punjab, the Gill and Chahal families have been business partners for generations, their bond both professional and personal. When Umeed Gill (22) and Zorawar Chahal (23) were children, their families arranged a playful childhood engagement, but life had other plans. Chahal Saab moved to Rajasthan to expand the family business, and the young friends were separated.
Years later, Navjot Gill (27), Umeed's elder brother, travels to Rajasthan to learn more about the family trade. There, he reconnects with Zorawar, and a strong friendship blossoms between them, bridging the gap of lost years. Meanwhile, Umeed grows into a poised and intelligent young woman, navigating the excitement and pressure of marriage proposals arriving at her home.
Zorawar returns to Punjab for his cousin Mankirat Chahal's (26) wedding, unaware that Umeed is also attending. Harleen Gill (25), Umeed's elder sister, marries Mankirat, and Umeed, seeing a stranger at the wedding, doesn't realize Zorawar has returned.
After the wedding, as Harleen (24) and Mankirat (26) settle into their married life, Zorawar (23) asks his family to send a marriage proposal to Umeed's (22) household. But tension arises when he gets into a heated argument with Navjot (25) about business expansion plans, creating a rift between the families.
