Ten years have passed after the high school "incident". Veronica has a life of her own, a husband of her own, and a daughter of her own. Everything is perfect, if we ignore that her husband is now in jail for attempted murder and her daughter has been seeing a pretty ghost with a red scrunchie.

One Direction are almost done with their American tour. The last stop is Texas. They have a week off before and plan on taking a road trip through the Long Horn state. All they wanted was some time to relax and have some fun, but unfortunately things don't go as plan. This concerns Veronica and one day while they're in the bathroom alone, Chandler subconsciously spills the tea about her problems. Veronica realizes that Chandler leads a pretty rough life and decides she has to help somehow. After trying to help for weeks on end and still not getting anywhere she stopped trying but Chandler always told her "You're the only one who can ease the pain." Veronica hated seeing her friend like this and she tried to help but still to no avail. As life went on Chandler and Veronica started to catch feelings for each other but didn't say anything until one night at a party. There were Chandler, Veronica, Duke, Mac, Ram, and Kurt, sitting in a circle, playing truth or dare- all of them were drunk of course. When it was Kurt's turn he looked over at Chandler and asked who her crush was. Her drunk ass admitted it was Veronica and they continued on with the game, not really thinking much of what Chandler had said- she was drunk after all and she probably didn't mean it. The only person that sat there thinking about it was Veronica. The next day was Saturday and everyone had bad hangovers other than Veronica who hadn't drank too much. She decided to head to Chandler's house to make sure she was doing alright and to ask if she really meant what she had said the other night. (I'm just gonna let you find out the rest for yourself )
