Although a work of fiction, this religious thriller has been packed with so many true events that it will stay with you long after you've finished reading it. Even the backdrop of the Vietnam War and what happened to Nickolas and his fellow soldiers actually happened. Of course I had to make up this whole story but this is what historical fiction writers do. Abandoned is just a means to tell you about some very amazing things that happened a long time ago; a platter of sort to nicely arrange before you what otherwise would remain separate.

Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is non-different from RadhaKrishna! Though He is the Supreme Lord, He has descended on Earth in the mood of a pure devotee.. The ONLY rule while reading this is - Don't have a judgemental attitude while reading about Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and His associates.. And, don't criticise anyone (even in your minds), since if you do that, your taste in hearing about Chaitanya Mahaprabhu will vanish... This was a difficult book to write for many reasons but I did finally complete it, first writing it in long hand; then on a Panasonic word processor, the after I taught myself how to use a computer re-typed the entire book out again as a text document. Totally unplanned, it also just so happened that I finished writing it in December, 1999. I then thought to myself, "why not take advantage of this and publish my book at the stroke of Midnight and lay claim to the first book of the 21st century. " This was all just for fun but I took great care in doing this honestly and ever since, and rightfully so, have planted this special little flag upon the field of literature. Hm...so small that I don't think anyone even knows this little fact about my book. Of course, all of this is rendered as ridiculous if Krishna & The Art of Bicycle Maintenance is a complete dud but thankfully there has been enough feedback to tell me that my book is at least decent.
