Vira Chand is a half-blood, plain and simple. She doesn't have any awful parents, isn't orphaned, isn't a muggleborn with bullies torturing her, and isn't any magical creature like a vampire or a werewolf. But she is clever. Clever enough to notice that a certain study mate of hers sneaks out with his friends every full moon. When she confronts Remus about it, he avoids her. Just runs away every time she's near.
