Thousands of years ago, an agreement was formed after the battle that left Gunmar sealed away from Earth. One that would provide each new Trollhunter with a sworn protector. Dragonborn, a species tired of seeing the world out of balance, and wanting to help the one meant to keep it safe. But, a few thousand years or so back, a Trollhunter found themselves without a Dragonborn. As did the next, and so on. Something happened, and it kept the chosen Dragonborn from fulfilling their duty. This made the Dragonborn untrustworthy in the eyes of trolls, as instead of protecting the peace alongside the Trollhunter, they destroyed it. Constant attacks, ones that left trolls on neverending edge. Dragonborns became known as evil, vicious creatures, quite unlike the once respected kind they used to be remembered as. Never trust a Dragonborn. Simple as that. However, when a human is selected as a Trollhunter, A Dragonborn meant to fulfill the purpose it's kin should have long ago finally shows itself. But...... She eventually sets off with her adopted friends on adventure to unravel her tangled past and explore the colourful cultures of the world (that I have yet to name.) Ever since I was little, I've known I was different. Some see it as a gift while others think I have some disease. I see my "gift", my genetic makeup, as a burden.

This is not a full story. This is a dumping ground for a bunch of random disconnected stuff that I started working on years ago and never finished. The first novel I ever wrote was called "Tommy." It was the first of three books in what I decided to call "The Timepiece Chronicles." Then I decided to call the first book "Changeling." Then I decided to call the SERIES "Changelings," and the first book "Tommy" again. And since the entire series was written during various NaNoWriMos and was terrible, I decided the whole thing needed a rewrite and began rewriting it here. And then I didn't finish. Even though the story never got beyond its (terrible) first draft, I actually have a LOT of writing on it. So while I started this Wattpad book as a rewrite of Tommy, I'll be using it from now on as a dumping ground for excerpts, drafts, sources, etc. Here's a couple of the original summaries of this story: ~~ooOoo~~ A fairy has made friends with a human boy.
