Humans died quicker and easier than trolls, so sometimes there were multiple Paragons per Trollhunter. The Trollhunter's amulet passed from warrior to warrior. Everyone knows that part of the story. But the Paragon carried their own relic: a silver charm with a blue gem at its heart. It chose its form based on the wearer. For Hartley Sandiego, it was a ring worn on his thumb-unassuming at a glance, until it flared into armor and summoned the weapon he'd chosen the moment destiny tapped him on the shoulder.
