This was originally just a project for my poetry class, but as time went on I realized that I wanted to share my poetry with more than just my classmates. So here it is: a piece of my mind! I wrote the chapbook based on my belief. The belief that no matter what feelings are flowing you someone else is also no stranger to this set of emotions. I've written those poems during the good and bad times that I've experienced nether less how I felt I was sure other individuals are going through. These poems fell into sequence of a story, a story that is not mine but the feelings of mine and many others.

"Blue" was named for the #karnerblue butterfly, an endangered gem you can still see in beautiful places like #IndianaDunes, my favorite place in the world, which inspired many of the poems in this collection.

This chapbook took a semester to bring to a completed form. I've recently decided to begin stepping outside of my comfort zone, so I am posting it here. garden of broken botanica is a very small collection of poetry I have been working on since freshman year of college. I had this printed at my school, so it was drafted in another format. Sorry for any inconsistencies, but I tried my best.
