This was originally just a project for my poetry class, but as time went on I realized that I wanted to share my poetry with more than just my classmates. So here it is: a piece of my mind! My chapbook gives the reader a view inside the mind of a teenager with a creative mind and many problems. Buckle up, grab a bag of popcorn, and enjoy the ride. Cover: Made by yours truly!

Pulling inspiration from Ethel Cain and Sylvia Plath, this chapbook explores a narrator's retelling of secrets that were never meant to be shared and an internal struggle that seems never ending.

Link in Author Bio... From the Author Introduction: 'I always planned on writing a plethora of poetry books but I never thought it would be during a pandemic. I had even planned on titling this book Love During the Time of COVID, because this present time is hella reminiscent of Love in the time of Cholera and the cholera pandemic. Except for one important difference. The Internet!!!" This poetry chapbook was inspired by the men I have met either online or in person, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Right now, more than ever, people are trying to stay in contact with each other and even meet new people. I did not fair so well (haha), but it gave me a lot of motivation to write over 80 poems about guys, love, life and everything in between.

Sometimes you can remember the racing thoughts while being dope sick

In the central city of a fictional nation, a revered mansion is reduced to rubble by a sudden explosion. Over the course of twenty-one poems and in epic fashion, Eureka recounts the efforts of the sheriffs who have been called upon to investigate the cause of the fatal, heart-wrenching disaster. However, as grief permeates the air with smoke and ashes, the sheriffs' daunting search for closure is supplanted by a discovery that threatens to dismantle the Country even further.
