He stood at the edge of the Earth. At least so it seemed. He shut his eyes. One breath in and it was too late for him.

Far from Earth, in the cavernous backwaters of the Universe, USS Starfleet drifted steadfastly onto its assured destination. The ship's captain, Daly, after leaving a dilapidated Earth finds himself trapped in the savage confines of space with the sheer enormity of his decisions weighing down on him. In a quest to make his futile life meaningful, he must extricate from the cobwebs of his own vices and lead the vessel to glory.
