**Harry Potter x OC** This fic follows an original character, Ellie Gray, whose story unfolds alongside the events of the Harry Potter series. Ellie grew up in an orphanage, but unlike Harry and the others, she never attended Hogwarts. Instead, she found her own way into the magical world and began working at a young age, building a life completely separate from the one we already know. While Harry, Ron, and Hermione are living through the events of the books, Ellie has her own story happening somewhere else at exactly the same time-her own friendships, choices, secrets, and dangers. For a while, their stories will run parallel to one another. But don't worry-they won't stay separate for too long. Eventually, Ellie's path will collide with Harry's, and from there, their stories will become increasingly intertwined. At its heart, this is also a slow-burn Harry x Ellie romance, so their relationship will grow naturally alongside everything else happening in the wizarding world. I've had so much fun imagining the parts of the magical world we never got to see and creating Ellie's place within it.
