Okooda Akira is a sixteen-year-old homeless girl living in Asakusa, Tokyo. Her parents died after foolishly joining a demonic cult that sacrificed them when she was still a child. Alone and with nowhere to go, Akira took shelter in an abandoned structure near Senso-ji Temple, living among its forgotten corners and sleeping beneath the old wooden beams.
Her life changed the moment she discovered the **Book of Yahweh**, tucked beneath a broken offering table. From the day she opened it, Akira gained the ability to sense curses instantly and drive them away through prayer alone. Even the strongest curses flee from her voice, terrified of the spiritual authority that moves through her.
To survive, Akira performs home exorcisms for ordinary people who never realize how close they were to death. She charges nothing, and lives only on the kindness of strangers and what little she can find.
Her only mentor is Kaji, an older Japanese believer who found her praying late one night and recognized the sincerity of her faith. He baptized her, taught her Scripture, and guides her quietly through Japan's spiritual dangers. Under his guidance, Akira walks the path of Christ in a land where true believers are rare, and the unseen world claws at the edges of the modern city.
Now, as curses grow more restless and rumors spread about a "mysterious girl" whose prayers erase spirits entirely, Akira must navigate Japan not only as a Christian homeless teen, but as a threat to the entire cursed world. When the strongest sorcerer, Satoru Gojo, finally senses her presence, everything Akira has tried to hide will come to light.
And the path God has set before her will truly begin.
