The Eternal Forge is the heart of a vast and ancient realm where only the strongest warriors endure. Creation of the god RAMVORN, this realm exists as a proving ground for those who seek greatness in battle. The swordsmen who dare enter the Eternal Forge are shaped and tempered through combat, honing their skills to potentially ascend to the ranks of the Sacred 50 Within the Eternal Forge, two key sub-realms await all who dare to test their mettle. One being the harsh Trials of Reckoning, chaotic and expansive battlegrounds that push warriors to their limits. This is a series of extremely short poems, inspired by the Power and Conflict poetry anthology for AQA GCSE English Literature. In these, I change the storylines slightly to create a 'what if?' experience. In a world where you run on a single Charge, how are you expected to survive? New technology is coming out everyday, and because of this, the average life spans in a country are getting shorter and shorter by the minute. Amelia and Evan are just two teenagers trying to make it as long as possible without running out of Charge. Easy enough, right? Wrong. After Amelia gets into a car accident, trying to at least make it to adulthood is beginning to prove difficult... Unless Evan has something to say about it. *This is an unedited short story consisting of a few short chapters. The reason it's so short is because I'm still trying to learn and get the hang of this "writing stories" thing. Regardless, I hope you enjoy.
