After high school Ruveta runs away due to the overwhelming pressure of puberty and college, there is no specific time of return. During this time of loss, everyone tries to find their senses and make each other better for Veta's sake. After Ruveta does come back, so do Sarvin's feelings for her. When Ruveta turns 19, she realizes Sarvin's feelings for her and accepts him as her first boyfriend.
