The Dead Boys Detective Agency takes on a new case and come to meet Crystal Palace. With her psychic abilities, she leads them to the case of a missing girl. Alongside their trusted human liason Aisling Rhodes they travel to Port Townsend. But things start happening around Aisling Rhodes that aren't as easily explained. Meanwhile she finds that her own secrets are crawling to the surface, especially upon the return of old friends and foes..

My adaptation and continuation of where Charles and Edwin left off in the "Dead Boy Detectives" series. If you haven't finished S1 I wouldn't read this, as there are some spoilers throughout the story. Edwin has been taking the loss of his friend, Niko, quite hard. He hasn't paced around the office with passion in months, he was forgetting to bring things with him on their cases, which was very very unlike him. They hadn't seen Edwin have even a smidge of a smile in ages. Crystal and Charles, and even the night nurse, were worried. But when Death's niece, "Allison" an untrained, and confused being, clearly unfit to do Death's bidding pops into their lives saying she has a mission to find Niko and bring her to the After Life, the group is sent into chaos. Niko wasn't in the After Life? Where was she? Why did Death send her niece of all people? Could they find her? - A continuation and adaptation of what comes next for the mystery solving ghost boys and living girl medium trio.

After leaving Port Townsend, Edwin's feelings for Charles seems to only ever grow stronger. And with David out of her head, Crystal decides that a relationship with Charles couldn't be impossible. Edwin misses Niko and this nice, calming thing there was between Monty and him. He thinks that maybe the Cat King could fill in this burning hole in his dead heart. But what does he know anymore?

After coming back from their most recent trip to America, Charles decides to revisit his old school, but it has more effects than anticipated TW: THIS STORY GETS REALLY DARK! Some Payneland fanfics I originally wrote in my notes just for myself. But then I thought "why not?" So now I'm publishing these and hoping it goes well. There is no smut, I'm disgusted by that.
